Last Card in Each Topps Set 1952-1969


Although he is yet in the full flower of youth, many already consider the redoubtable Maxwell Kates to be the baseball sage of Toronto.  He submits the following team with the following explanation:  “Here's a team of all the players on the last card of every Topps set from 1952 to 1969.

“Please note the following:  A) Jim Hickman, while primarily an outfielder, did play a few games at first base and B) Ron Hunt, while primarily a 2rd baseman, did play two games at shortstop (two more than Johnny Temple did).
